The motivation of working is depentant on individual. And, some person state that money is the best motivational factor. But I desagree with the opinion that the best way to encourage employee is paying extra money for extra work. There are two reasons.

 

First, money would not be motivation of working. My experience support to this argueing. I have heard the fact that many of the reason people try to resign the current job is culture of workplace. And the survey indicated that salary is 4th grade of resign. Therefore paying extra money would not effective method to encourage employees.

 

Second, paying extra money for extra work is very common personnel system. These days, in terms of regulation of working standert, most of company care about how treat their employees. securily paying extra money for extra work is gradually becoming one of the element of it. Thus, many company is paying salary for overwork. That is not special system. Such regular plan would not increase personnel motivation.

 

In these reasons, I strongly beliave that paying extra money for extra work is not good way to encourage emproyees.
